The work ‘Epicenters’ attempts to gather a rapidly diminishing and scattered family archive throughout the lands of Bulgaria and Armenia, by collecting album images and traveling to the locations of family members’ past in hopes of filling the void in the historical and personal narrative. It aims to pose questions about our ongoing quest for identity and the need to be anchored to a certain past, in order to build from there a probable future.

The long term documentary project ‘Boulevard 6th September’ focuses on the Boulevard of Unity in Plovdiv, Bulgaria and its surrounding areas. It explores the segregation that the boulevard has created between communities and aims to raise social and political issues on theatricality of customs, cultural and national beliefs and behaviors.
