The Periphery of Love

The Periphery of Love & the “old unanswerable question., what is it that we are part of and what is it that we are”

Periphery is on the edge & we are all on the edge of love whether its is in the past with our memories or in the present which has to create new connections we can process through the pain of loss. Love & death hit you like a brick and especially when you know you can never fall in love again like this.

My significant other of 56 years went on to the foreign land of no return without his passport on May 16 of this year. Bill Bannon & I became sweethearts at our philosophy teacher’s, party in May 1970 when my then boyfriend tried to run over Bill with his VW Beetle car when he caught Bill paying too much attention to me. Needless to say, that was the start of 56 years of love, Incredible String Band music, guitar playing & figuring out how to live as a duo together.

My photos are all filled with sweet surrender to his smile, beautiful face and intelligence of being. I took photos of our love affair & have the music we made together through the years and here is a portfolio dedicated to love. The photos of me are taken by Bill, also a wonderful photographer
