Around the sea

The series emerges from the encounter between the seascape and matter. Through double exposure, the horizon, water, and sky overlap with rocks, sand, and natural fragments found along the coastline, creating images suspended between reality and perception.
The photographs do not simply depict the sea; they seek to convey its presence: shifting, layered, capable of preserving traces and transforming them. Different surfaces merge, boundaries become uncertain, and the landscape takes on an almost inner dimension, like a memory resurfacing without ever fully revealing itself.
The colour palette, ranging from the deep blue of the water to the brown and earthy tones of sand and rock, accompanies the transition between fluidity and solidity, lightness and weight. The sea thus emerges as a space of connection, where different elements meet and give rise to new forms, leaving the viewer free to lose themselves among matter, light, and memory.
