Confined landscapes

Author-photographer since 2011, I have sought to take advantage of the confinement linked to the Covid19 health crisis.

Tired of confinement, restrained by confinement, the imagination has taken over. The photographs in this series evoke distant, wild landscapes.

They are actually shadows from crumpled newspaper, cast on my living room table.

Beyond reverie, these photographs question the notion of the real. They do not represent real landscapes, but they do reflect a reality. That of the shadows of the paper on a table.

These photographs show that our brains can be influenced. Evocation can sometimes play tricks. But when it comes to artistic photographs, you have to forget your critical eye and let yourself be carried away by your emotions.
