Links, today and yesterday.
…You can rediscover that certain places are the same as when you were a child.
The house where you were born, the yard where you played soccer, time seems to have stood still.
Unfortunately, it’s not all like that; what I haven’t rediscovered are the people, my loved ones, my childhood friends, my affections….
There’s an invisible thread that links places and people.
A very personal link that we carry within us and cannot show.
Not the places, the ones we see, the ones we can show today as well as yesterday….
I’m an Italian photographer, and with this Portfolio entitled “Legami” (Links) I wanted to tell the story of the inescapable relationship between Man and Territory; the immutable link with one’s own Roots.
