Bike messenger in Toronto, I spent a lot of time in offices, condominiums or hospital elevators. An elevator is a particular space-time, between exterior and interior, where people share a short moment of intimacy. There are some tiny interactions like some looks, polite gestures, short conversations or a smell. But ignorance prevails, with smartphone like or dogs like friends. With this series, I tried to capture this brief time of everyday life.
