The photographs in the project “A day in life” are scenes that at first sight look realistic. They appear to be quite ordinary. However, a surrealistic twist is added by using animal masks. The unusual somewhat abnormal content is reinforced by details or actions depicted in the photographs.
“A day in life” resulted after contemplating human behaviour, how persons act and react. Whether human behaviour is based on their own believes and values or on what they think is expected from them. The animal masks symbolise the very often hidden secret thoughts of people.
