Ephemeral arts
One year, already… the live shows are stopped.
And also corporate events…
No more projects, no more missions, no more resources.
I think about my friends.
Sound, light or image technicians… producers, logisticians, editors… graphic designers, decorators… And artists!
Self-employed, intermittent employees… they receive very little help to survive this period…
What will become of event management and all its skills?
What will become of these professions?
Will we still produce these beautiful events that offered a little grace and emotion… in the midst of ever more cynical speeches?
At a time when this pandemic is only accelerating the process of digitisation of many human activities… it seems that for some, the human being, in all its dimensions, has become an accessory!?
A few years ago, I undertook to photograph the settings of our events. Those on which I worked… project director, or designer or scenographer…
Today I am an author-photographer (and designer-director of image programmes) and I want to pay tribute to them.
So that we don’t forget those without whom none of these events could exist.
