In search of the eighth building

The eighth is the number of the building where the day department of the regional psychoneurological hospital is located. In september 2020 I made an appointment with the head of the department to confirm the diagnosis, walked around the territory for a long time looking for the right building and a name for the project came to mind
Idea and method:
recall emotionally charged and haunting situations from childhood and adolescence recreate images, objects and spaces in reality in as much detail as possible, be alone with them in a safe space, feel the emotions and states that arise, and critically comprehend this experience the visual language reflects the vividness, absurdity and obsession of memories and introjects, the dry and unpoetic text describes the author’s detached position and balances the visual overload of images
