In this project I portrayed woman of different races as high baroque ladies to give them a place back in history. This project shows about tattooed women and women from different cultures of our world posing as baroque ladies. These are woman living right at this moment, all photographed in renaissance or baroque atmossphere.
However, this is impossible from a historic time point of view, because a hundred years ago women of any othe race than white were minors in renaissance European time. These woman didn’t fit in the extraordinary exclusive baroque world. I have pulled away time from it’s structure and I wanted to give every woman a place back in history.
