On October 23rd, the Prix Nadar Gens d’Images 2014 was awarded to Laurent Millet‘s book Les enfantillages pittoresques (Filigranes Éditions), with text by Michel Poivert, Arthur Kopel and Christine Besson.
In his work as a photographer and visual artist, Millet writes the chapters of an imaginary encyclopedia filled with objects which he builds in natural settings or in his studio. His creations are hybrids of traditional, scientific and architectural objects, as well as work by artists he admires.
