Fluid mechanics. A photographic journey through abstraction and matter. With macro photography and an aquarium as main tool through a work I called “Liquid Soul”
I use milk, paint or inks that I inject directly into aquarium water. With a work of staging the lighting. This creates eerie, dreamlike shapes that only last for the instant of shooting before disappearing completely.
I explore the intimacy and the beauty of simple subjects, present in my daily life. I try to remove some of the visual cues associated with them to focus only on their aesthetic and poetic character. My photos invite the viewer on an infinite journey, without limits, between structure and deconstruction. Where the most banal of liquids becomes a work of abstract art.
