Preview

Without borders, the ocean is unique and its preservation is everyone’s business. This is the essential message of the 1 OCEAN campaign relayed by the exhibition of 20 photos presented in very large format on the forecourt of Paris Gare de Lyon and at Paris Gare du Nord by the Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission of UNESCO and SNCF Gares. & Connections. They are signed by Alexis Rosenfeld, recognized specialist of the big blue, also photojournalist and professional diver.

The year 2021 promises to be decisive for the climate, biodiversity and the environment due to the holding of important international meetings: COP Climate, COP Biodiversity, IUCN Nature Congress in Marseille. To challenge the urgency of protecting the ocean and developing oceanographic research, the Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission of UNESCO and Alexis Rosenfeld are creating the 1 OCEAN project, a great testimony to the ocean.

Through photographic emotion, he invites us to discover the fragile beauty of the ocean, alongside the scientists who study it in order to better understand and defend it.

On the occasion of the launch of the United Nations Decade for Oceanic Sciences (2021-2030), a gigantic work of exploration and sharing is announced. It is already taking shape, until April 30, with this first open-air, free-access exhibition on the forecourt of Gare de Lyon. This exhibition will also be presented at Paris Gare du Nord.
