Quiet Encounters
This series brings together wildlife encounters shaped by patience, distance, and observation. Photographed across different landscapes in India, the work has developed over time through repeated visits and sustained attention to the same environments.
Rather than focusing on action, the images explore moments of stillness, brief pauses where presence becomes more apparent than movement. A glance, a shift in posture, or the way light settles across a scene becomes central to the frame.
The intention is not to dramatise, but to observe without intrusion. Each image reflects an attempt to remain unobtrusive, allowing the subject to exist on its own terms.
Through this approach, the series looks at the quiet space between encounter and distance, where both subject and observer blindly share the same moment.
