In the beginning, it all starts with a sudden identity awareness, born from the paradox of our relationship, hovering between fear and desire, with an ubiquitous entity: Europa. We, nowadays being Europeans maybe as much as French, what do we know of this area, this territory so close to us?
Considering the feeling we had that something was missing to help us develop our identity a little further, something that would rely on a somehow empirical experience, we took the road during nine months, from April to December 2014, and headed for those spaces full of promises.
This initiative towards Europa, towards ourselves, since we had no legitimacy in terms of knowledge, we made it our way, innocent, curious, shy, most of the time biased of course, but always hopeful and ingenuous.
We tried to give to the territory a little of its poetry back, the sort of poetry that is hiding in the simple things, gift for the eye but often invisible, crouched behind the banal and the usual, indifferently going from the enchanted landscape to the construction site.
