In the early 80′, Anne Marie Perier published a story “Beauté” in the magazine 20an , with pictures of mouths realized by Claude Guillaumin.
“Kisses marks of my “girl friends” and models I photographed complete the publication. Today I reworked the subject by adding memories, letters, quotes, love letters and photographs of those affected. Memories and thought about past loves, present or forgotten, romantic disappointment, women I hurt, youthful folly and the good side of an era in which we write to communicate, or perhaps by modesty, to express our feelings verbally. The montages are deliberately simple and without special effects to respect the tradition of collage, with glue and scissors, which was used before the arrival of computers.”
