Echo, Frame, Flux

In this project, my goal is to explore the dynamic relationship between order and deviance in the fluidity of the world, through my personal experience.
The birth and growth of my own child led me to reconsider the constant changes in the world and the coexistence of nature and artifice. The chaos and dizzying daily changes of a child reveal our innermost nature. On the other hand, in the modern digital age, where the social system is highly developed, not only the external environment, but also human beings, are integrated into it from the fetal state and gradually acclimated as social beings as they grow.
According to Gilles Deleuze, all things and their relationships are evolutionary, constantly evolving into something different while influencing each other. We human beings have attempted to create order by drawing limits to nature, which is inherently random and infinite, and to consider it comprehensible. However, irreducible deviations still remain, and the complexity of the world—reality that overflows into a dualistic framework—emerges from the interrelationship between the two. This project is composed of photographs of everyday life that construct a personal narrative and suggest an ambiguous connection with ordered nature and the indefinite external structure that underlies it. Using the ambivalence of reality and the image contained in the photograph allows for a back-and-forth between the external world and my inner self. I sought to show the diversity of the world through the visualization of the entanglement and fluidity that occur within this relationship.
