Symbiosis
Definition: A biological, lasting, and mutually beneficial association between two living organisms.
Once, human beings lived in balance with their environment — part of a fragile, interdependent living whole. They did not dominate nature; they adapted to it, belonged to it, and treated it with respect.
Today, that harmony seems forgotten. With Symbiosis, I question humanity’s place on Earth, exploring the possibility of a renewed connection — more humble, more intimate.
In this series, a nude, androgynous body blends into nature. It does not impose; it adapts. Each pose evokes cooperation, a search for balance between vulnerability and belonging.
The face, almost always hidden, invites each viewer to project themselves, to reconnect with this primal bond.
Far from the image of a powerful, dominant human, this body reminds us that we are, above all, living beings among others — dependent on our environment.
Symbiosis invites us to rediscover a forgotten part of ourselves: a fragile creature, not here to conquer, but to coexist.
