Fragments of the Imagination
To mark the centenary of the SNCF club, I present a photographic series exploring the 13th arrondissement. I loved discovering these places, and each shot is a visual fragment of the places I visited.
The choice of black and white invites the imagination, and the light that bathes each photograph gives a palpable presence to these scenes where humans are absent, but whose echoes are felt through a poetry that emanates from the places.
After some photographic explorations, I chose to explore these places at night, where a ghostly atmosphere is revealed.”
