In summer 2013 my parents came back from a trip to Turkey and brought portraits with them. Those where shot by a photographer from the beach. Everyday he offers his service to tourists. The results are professional and very popular in my parents circle of friends. But when I looked at those prints I didn’t see the two people who raised me and my brother. That’s why I chose trying to show them in a way, that is more personal and more familiar to myself. On a day at the end of december I shot this project and named it “The parents (of mine)”. Appart from a few photos most of them were taken inside of my parent’s house.
