This series Onearthed* is producted by iranian photographer Hamid Shams. In the heart of darkness any light is favored. The presence of a tranquil illumination; at times attractive and trustworthy, and at other times, threatening and disconcerting. It is the intense experience of the complementing opposites in every corner of the city at night that seems to challenge our perception. Our perception of what could appear appealing or distressing, while both are incomplete.
