The exhibition “Young Greek Photographers” has been promoting young Greek photographic ’ creativity since 1987, thus providing an annual review. Every year, the “Young Greek Photographers” shows the work of artists, aged from 18 to 35, who may emerge as some of the best of their generation in Greece.
Over time, this exhibition has been considered the main platform in Greece for the presentation of young photographers. A significant number of well known and established Greek photographers today have been first shown at the YGP exhibition, it demonstrates the importance of this initiative. This year 10 photographers, were chosen from over 600 submissions, they will be presented in the framework of the Athens Photo festival 2012.

Efi Yele, Aggeliki Kalamara, Penelope Koliopoulou, Artemis Manouki, Alkisti Moutafi, Vaso Balou, Marita Pappa, Konstantinos Taliotis, Efthymia Tornari, Manos Chrisovergis.
