In the category “General News” of the 12th edition of CHIPP (China International Press Photo Contest), five photographers were awarded. In the single image category, the first three prizes “Gold”, “Silver” and “Bronze” were awarded respectively to Peter Dejong (Panic in Paris), Pu Xiaoxu (Comfort Woman Survivor) and Yannis Behrakis (The Kiss). Two awards of excellence were given to Darko Bandic (On the Move) and Asmaa Waguih (Kurdish Women Battle Islamic State).
