In the category “War & Conflict” of the 12th edition of CHIPP (China International Press Photo Contest), five photographers were awarded. In the single image category, the first three prizes “Gold”, “Silver” and “Bronze” were awarded respectively to Georgi Licovski (Migrant & Refugee Crisis at Greek-Macedonian Border), Lefteris Pitarakis (Over the Fence) and Li Rui (A Shower of Tear Gas Cylinders). Two awards of excellence were given to Antonio Masiello (Ship of Hope) and Soe Zeya Tun (Student Protests).
