In the category “Disasters & Diseases News” of the 12th edition of CHIPP (China International Press Photo Contest), four photographers were awarded. In the single image category, the first three prizes “Gold”, “Silver” and “Bronze” were awarded respectively to Zhou Wei (Sorrow of the Scorched Earth), Chen Jie (Breast Cancer Patient) and Corentin Fohlen (Malaria in Uganda). One award of excellence was given to Narendra Shrestha (Nepal Earthquake).
