Zineland par Antoine Soubrier: FP&CF

Preview

In 2009, Éditions FP & CF (named for its founders, Frédéric Pierre and Camille Françoise) launched a call for images on Flickr. They were looking for pictures to include the first issue of Tell Mum Everyting is OK. It was a huge success: 2000 images were submitted and a first printing of 150 copies sold out in five days. Two years later and now well established in the fanzine world, the fifth issue of Tell Mum will appear in a run of 1,000 copies.

Printed on recycled 140 gram paper, thick, soft and irregular, the photographs of Klara Källström, Nico Krebs & Tayo Onorato, Christian Patterson, Maciek Pozoga, Torbjørn Rødland, Alec Soth and Roger Ballen explore the theme of stigmata. Meticulously put together in the form of a notebook, this issue of Tell Mum invites the reader on an exploration of an imaginary space filled with raw material and human bodies.

FC&FP are also behind a dozen other boks and zines, including the publication of Dirty Negative by the Canadian artist Jeremy Jansen (200 copies). Always with the same care and creativity, FC&FP champions bold visual projects, exploring the range of possibilities for images on paper. Long live FC&FP!
