WILD BLUE – Adriano Koch’s first film, a portrait of the cyanotype world of Fanny Zambaz

Preview

Music producer and artist Adriano Koch has signed his very first film. Entirely self-produced, WILD BLUE plunges viewers into the wild clarity of Valais photographer Fanny Zambaz.

The film recounts the artist’s poetic quest: to capture the poetry of living things and transmute it into giant cyanotypes revealed in the light of the sun.

‘At dawn, Fanny criss-crosses the Valais forest, her camera equipment firmly slung over her shoulders, listening, hiding and letting nature express itself. Between ephemeral mists and fluttering wings, she reveals an intimate nature.

In her studio, she coats the watercolour paper, lets the sun shine through her negatives and hangs her bluish cyanotypes – ethereal remnants of a fragile world. WILD BLUE becomes a sensitive dialogue between two artists: Fanny Zambaz, for her story, her work and her deeply singular universe, and Adriano Koch, who reveals this beauty with the sensitivity of his gaze and the depth of his music’.
