The ferry boat
I was inspired to take this series of pictures when I took the ferry boat from Baie Comeau on the North Coast, to Matane in Gaspésie, Quebec. I wanted to express an idea of wandering, of exploration, of a place that the viewer identifies with some clues. The architecture, the graphical lines and bright colours bring a feeling of fake scenery. The only clues that show the passing of time are the moving shadows creating new patterns.
