The main aspects of these still lives are geometry, colors and a mirror, besides the objects of compositions. There are the polka dots, the tartan, traditional Scottish tissue, and finally the lines, which create surprising optical effects. The choice of using the mirror has been also conceptual, other than stylistic. The pictures we take are mirrors, probably funhouse mirrors, and we have to care about what we put inside, because their betrayal is not only possible, but also probable. In fact, regardless of the genre of photography, we can not avoid to express in our pictures our deepest personality and our preferences. The spilled symmetry of a mirror refers to an usual world, that thanks to distortion and action of lights, makes that things leave their usual shape to writhe, dilute or expand to the space.
