Ancient City Pingyao
This is a set of documentary photographs I took in the ancient city of Pingyao in Shanxi Province, China, which fully records the doors” of different eras and types in the ancient city. Pingyao Ancient City is known as the most complete ancient county town in China. Although China has a long history, ancient cities, and historical buildings can be seen everywhere, but there are very few that are well preserved. Most of the historical buildings have undergone multiple restorations and reconstructions.
