Every week, L’Oeil de la Photographie presents the radio program Regardez voir, produced by Brigitte Patient on France Inter. An interview with Darcy Padilla.
Padilla is a young, energetic and beautiful brunette. Darcy’s father was a Mexican social worker, her mother served food in a hospital. As as soon she got hold of an automatic camera, she knew what she wanted to do with her life. In the studio, smiling, with infinite elegance and modesty, Padilla testifies to the suffering of a family through her photographs.
