Founded in 1973, the Fundació Lluís Carulla works to promote the language, culture and values that define Catalan society, with the aim of strengthening a sense of belonging. The Fundació Lluís Carulla stems from an initiative undertaken by Lluís Carulla Canals, at a time when Francoist repression was silencing Catalan language and culture.
