Tagveti, a Village in Georgia
Tagveti is the village where Natela Grigalashvili spent most of her childhood with her parents and brother. This village is the source of two photographic series: one dedicated to her mother, while the other highlights her attachment to the land where she grew up.
Over time, the boundaries between these two series disappeared, leaving us today in a single space: that of her life, her past, her memory, and that of the villagers.
Exhibition from September 4 to October 11. Discussion on Saturday the 6th at 5:30 p.m. about her photographic work and her two books, “Tagveti, a Village in Georgia” and “The Land of the Doukhobors,” published by Editions Images Plurielles.
