MYOP is about to release its book Ukraine – Fragments 02-2022 / 02-2023.

The book will be available at the beginning of June in bookstores, with a launch during the Rencontres d’Arles.

The Russian invasion launched on February 24, 2022 has tipped more than 40 million Ukrainians into a reality that we can only grasp through reports and testimonies.

Since the start of the war, six photographers from the MYOP agency have shown us the history that is being written in Ukraine, in the heart of the European continent. Whether they go as close as possible to the front or choose to share the lives of civilians, each in their own way tries to capture the daily life, the life that continues despite the threat and anxiety, despite fragility and death.

The portraits, the situations, the landscapes brought together in this book are all fragments that make up the modest and moving story of a year of war.

As all the partners of the book waive their remuneration, all the funds from the sale will be donated to the Ukrainian association NGO YES. Based in Zaporijjia, it provides food, medical and clothing aid to vulnerable populations as well as to war-displaced persons in this eastern region of the country.
