Candy Colors

Fairs are sensory overload in the best possible way—bursts of shocking color, swirling motion, and the scent of sweet, strange foods in the air. They’re chaotic, loud, and wonderfully alive—a whirlwind of sound, light, and energy that sweeps us up the moment we step through the gates.

But through my lens, I see something slightly different.

Amid the visual noise, I find a harmony—a playful vibrance I’ve come to call “Candy Colors.” It’s not just about capturing what the fair looks like, but what it feels like: joyful, nostalgic, and a little surreal. I translate the chaos into something dreamlike, with hues that echo cotton candy, neon rides, and the magic of childhood wonder.

This palette allows me to express the fun, spontaneity, and lighthearted madness of the fairground—translating it from a sensory experience into a visual celebration. It’s my way of turning all that wild energy into something sweet, lasting, and just a little bit magical.
