Founded in 2002 under the auspices of the Union Latine, the Prix Martin Chambi, aims to support and promote the work of photographers from the organization’s 36 member countries. To celebrate the 10th edition, the officials of the Prix Martin Chambi have chosen the following theme: the representation of the family today. “The continual meeting of cultures creates new human landscapes that are reflected in family life. To tell the story of these landscapes through the language of contemporary photography, its revolution, its future—that’s where the challenge lies for our photographers and their talent.
