Japanese Umbrellas
In Japan, whatever the weather, umbrellas are out. There is a sense of nostalgia, fulfilment and even melancholy when walking away from the main thoroughfares, and even when demonstrations take place, they are calm and peaceful. I thought that black and white was more suitable for this series, as is often the case with great Japanese photographers.
