Her name: Liz Obert.
Liz Obert is a lens-based artist living in Portland, Oregon, USA. Her latest work reflects on mortality, the human condition, and our culture’s obsession with materialism through our shared experience of food. She is a Professor Emerita at Linfield University and a Freelance Food Photographer.
Her work has been exhibited nationally and internationally, with showcases in Spain, France, and Hungary. Recently, she won the Pollox award for Fine Art Photography, she was a finalist for the Soho Gallery Portfolio competition, and received an honorable mention for Foto Slovo. She is a member of Gallery 144 in Portland, OR.
