Mirage

One morning when I was repairing the dream that had apparently woken me up, I had the idea of transcribing it so that this prolific double life could turn from dream to reality.

These dreams are so significant that they end up imposing themselves on me. I believe I have experienced them. So the question arises of the reality of what we live, the reality also of what we see. Do we see the same thing? In front of grandiose landscapes, do we have the same feeling, aren’t we in the world of the sensitive? Is perception universal?

For me these places are mirages like this optical phenomenon linked to the curvature of light rays reflecting on the overheated layers of the atmosphere close to the ground. They are of the order of illusion. Aren’t these landscapes made from my own imagination like these dreams that come from nowhere and from so far away? Jim Harrison at the release of the film “Only the Earth is Eternal” said of the landscapes “We are the places where we have been and they are part of us”.
