Khovid-21
Khovid-21 is a long-term project which begins at the historical date of 14th April 2021, both because it’s the Khmer new year and the first day of a complete lockdown of Phnom Penh. I chose this meaningful moment to start a one-year project documenting the streets everyday.
The concept is to select the best picture each day. 365 days capturing life through the eyes of a street photographer. The aim is not to report as a journalist, but it’s an artistic approach to the events which will reflect the society as daily encounters. The whole work will be analysed at the end of this journey.
