Galerie Camille Pouyfaucon : Eugénie Didier and Léa Toutain : A room of one’s own

Preview

The Galerie Camille Pouyfaucon presents Eugénie Didier and Léa Toutain, brought together in the exhibition Une chambre à soi.

The exhibition, whose title is borrowed from Virginia Woolf’s essay, refers to the intimate nature of the works of the two artists, and to the importance of having one own mental space for artistic creation. The painters Eugénie and Léa thus both exploit their own photographs of everyday interior scenes and stolen moments, underlining the need to have a personal, real or spiritual space where everyone is free to create, in the image of the famous essay by Virginia Woolf.
