The book Pik-Nik takes a lucid look at the middle class of contemporary urban India through the phenomenon of picnics.
It gathers the images realized on this social phenomenon between 2013 and 2015 by Arko Datto, Indian photographer based in Calcutta and member of the Noor agency. It is accompanied by a text by Kushanava Choudhury, author in 2017 of a first novel noticed on Calcutta, The Epic City.
