In “Split Perspectives”, I am taking fragments from two local events both held in the city of Split, Croatia, in Spring. These events – a traditional religious procession and a Gay Pride march – depict two faces of the same place. They also reflect how a traditional community struggles with the increasing diversity of contemporary society.
