The strength and harmony of our Plant environment
Based on the premise that we don’t destroy what we love, this serie combines color and black-and-white photographs that contrast places often seen as tourist destinations, but where I sought to share this feeling of strong and resilient nature. The vegetation that can be lush in different regions of the planet plays a vital role in our subsistence and well-being. A green wall in Guadeloupe or tree ferns in Australia’s Blue Mountains are depicted either in color, showing the richness of the natural landscapes, or in black and white, accentuating the shapes and textures.
In keeping with the plant theme, the exhibition prints are made on natural agave fiber photographic paper for large formats and hemp for some small formats.
