When nature reclaims its rights over Piton de la Fournaise, the volcano on Réunion Island. Nature quickly rises from the ashes once the volcano has calmed down. On this lunar landscape, whitish lichens appear first, followed by ferns and then shrubs, and gradually the forest gains ground and takes over the territory.
