Woodland is a photographic tale which suggests discovering the bestiary of an imaginary country through a series of photos in the style of the explorers of the beginning of the century.

Every photography being accompanied with a descriptive note of the photographed species and with its lifestyle on a moved, funny register even “surrealist”

Woodland, ” the country where the dead wood is very alive ” account one already about fifty rare specimens.

Photos were taken ” on the deep ” in France or in the United States.

They were simply worked then to establish a contrast between the shape and the secondary environment is thanks to a set between black / white and color or by simple cropping.

Woodland contains 2 sectors : the first one is dedicated to the story of the discovery and to the tribe of the Big Trees: “Woodland, the Imaginary Country”
the second presented here is only interested in the species list of the bestiary “Woodland, the imaginary bestiary”
