What happened to girls who dreamed of being mermaids?
Based in Paris and originally from Milan, Alice Rosati is known in the world of fashion photography. Photographer and artistic director, she works regularly with many well-established magazines and brands.
She graduated as an art critic in Milan just before settling in Paris. She will develop her identity as an artist when she moves to Greece, where she worked in a photo studio. Following this, she will return to Italy to assist fashion photographer Graziano Ferrari.
In 2011, she co-founded Sanssouci Magazine, a multi-format editorial project presented as a limited and unusual object, embracing the best of contemporary art, in all its forms and expressions. Rosati favors her Mamiya 6 × 7 camera for taking pictures, not disdaining digital because she openly admits that this technology also allows her to produce excellent results. Generally speaking, she sees her goal as a simple tool, not a means.
Rosati is a photographic storyteller, considering herself a polyhedral artist.
