The Voices
This project emerged from my experience during my artist residency in Gaspésie (Quebec, Canada). Invited by the Gaspésie Photography Festival in September 2024, I developed an artistic project in collaboration with the writer France Cayouette. Through research and a public call for submissions, a series of vintage photographs belonging to residents of the Baie-des-Chaleurs region were collected and reinterpreted. The result is a collaborative work of art where the landscape becomes both an echo and a mirror of humanity, a reflection of our shared history that speaks to us at the intersection of past and present, reminding us of our collective memory.
