Preview

24 Images is an exhibition held at Galerie Cinema by the Institut National des Archives (INA) in Paris to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Cannes Film Festival. On the occasion of this platinum jubilee of the most important cinema event, the photographers Pierre Lescure, Gilles Jacob, and Thierry Frémaux have selected a number of photographs from INA’s unique collections to give us a glimpse of the era that shaped the Cannes Festival into what it is today. Brief exclusive interviews with the three exhibition collaborators are available with the app “24 Images” designed by INA as an introduction to the emblematic photographs. Their secrets, anecdotes, and memories are also revealed in the screening room of the gallery.
