The annual World Press Photo Contest recognizes and celebrates the best photojournalism and documentary photography produced over the last year, selected by an international independent jury. Prizes include up to €6,000, inclusion in an annual traveling exhibition, and more.
Entering is free and open to all professional photographers working in the field of photojournalism and/or documentary photography. Work may be submitted into four format-based categories: Singles, Stories, Long-Term Projects, and Open Format.
Entries for the 2024 World Press Photo Contest are now open until Thursday 11 January 2024, 13.00 CET.
